The expansion of the Indiana Convention Center, when completed in 2010, will have 566,000 square feet of exhibit space and Lucas Oil Stadium will have an additional 179,000 square feet.

In 2011, a 1,600+ room JW Marriott complex will open and be linked via skywalk to the Indiana Convention Center. The complex will feature a JW Marriott tower, three other properties and a 40,500-square foot ballroom.

The 63,000-seat Lucas Oil Stadium, features a retractable roof and will be connected to the expanded Indiana Convention Center via walkway.

The new, $1 billion Col. H. Weir Cook Terminal at the Indianapolis International Airport will open Nov. 12. The airport is located less than 15 minutes via interstate highway from downtown Indy.
