Episode 42 - Madame Walker Building    (Jan 31, 2007)
Search
An African-American icon, Madame C.J. Walker was the first woman in American history to become a self-made millionaire. The Madame Walker Building was completed in 1927, a few years after her death, and became the hub of the African-American community in Indianapolis. Seth Hancock shows why this building, theater and Madame Walker's legacy are still alive and thriving today.
