Dunaway's is worth a visit if only for the delicious—and large enough for two—crab cake appetizer, served on fresh greens and accompanied by spicy remoulade and Asian oil sauces. The friendly wait staff practically insisted we order only half salads, and it was good advice since we needed to save room for the ample entrees. The large sea scallops and the lobster ravioli will satisfy almost any seafood urge; both are nicely seasoned and attractively presented, but the ravioli was swimming in too much sauce. We also enjoyed the live entertainment the evening of our recent visit.

The filet mignon was out-of-this-world good. Perfectly cooked and super tender. Our server handled our 12-person party with ease and energy. Wish we could have dined at a rooftop table, but the ambiance in the restaurant was still quite nice.

After my first experience at Dunaway's (see above), we tried it again before the holidays. Our service was still top notch and our server was quite knowledgable about the menu and specials, wine, etc. Unfortunately, though, my filet was terribly overcooked - to the point that I would have sent it back had we not been dining with a group of colleagues as part of a holiday party. Overall, we were very disappointed with our meal but hope that it was just a fluke of that particular evening. That's just not what you expect when you're paying that much for a steak.
