A Hotel Restaurant
We visited on a Monday night and it was very quiet. The sampler appetizer was typical breaded items although the males in the group really liked the spicy but sweet wings. The dinner rolls were awesome - a nice tasty variety with real butter although it would have been nice to have had them before the entrees arrived. The salmon entree was very good with an excellent sauce. The green beans were also seasoned nicely and not overcooked. Likewise the rice pilaf was a nice mix of wild rice cooked perfectly. The steak diane had a yummy sauce although the cut of meat wasn't the best. The kids all ordered seafood alfredo which had a weak sauce but they liked it. Too bad they were out of scallops and 2 of the 5 dessert choices. The creme brulee was very good, although the accompanying "seasonal berries" consisted of one raspberry on top. The brulee cheesecake was good and sweet but very cold. For a typical hotel restaurant it was about what we expected, some good items, some items lacking much flavor and all rather expensive. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back but would return if location was the deciding factor.
